Reality TV shows often feature lavish and enviable properties that many people dream of living in, complete with spacious bedrooms, beautiful open plan living spaces, swimming pools and green space aplenty. With so many incredible homes used as backdrops for reality TV shows, we wanted to look at how much they would be worth on the market today – to see which shows splash the most cash when it comes to housing their stars.

To help value these notorious reality TV homes, we partnered up with property experts Anderson Rose and Chancellors, who provided an estimated value of each home, which range from the humble roots of reality TV in 2000’s Castaway, to the sun-kissed surroundings of Love Island’s Casa Amor.
It’s the USA that comes out on top, with The Bachelor’s Mansion and Temptation Island’s Hawaii hideaway revealed as the costliest properties. However, whilst America might be home to the most valuable, London is also home to three of the top five – with Alan Sugar’s The Apprentice dominating the UK’s priciest reality homes.
With the top five featuring mega-mansions, the top 20 includes homes from some well-known UK reality show favourites, including Love Island, The X-Factor and The Only Way Is Essex.
Famously known as “The Mansion” on The Bachelor, Villa de la Vina has been used as the base for the American dating show for almost every season since 2012. Providing a little taste of Tuscany in the Malibu hills, the property has been valued at a massive £37.2 million. Built in 2004, the 10-acre property has an impressive amount of interior space, featuring 7 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms. Plenty of room for guests to stay over and enjoy the standout features of the property, including the infinity pool and incredible picturesque views over the canyon.
This tropical beach villa provided accommodation for some of the contestants on the 2019 reboot of Temptation Island. With eight bedrooms, nine bathrooms, a media room and a library, this exclusive property comes with an estimated value of £37,225,000 making it the joint highest-value reality TV property. The villa has direct access to the beach, one of only six beachfront lots on the street and comes with a resort-style swimming pool overlooking the ocean, perfect for those who want to enjoy the water without leaving the confines of the property.
Located in West London this property is famous for being home to the contestants of the 2017 and 2018 series of The Apprentice. With Notting Hill, Portobello Road and Ladbroke Grove right on the doorstep, you can understand why this property comes with an eye-watering estimated value of £15,507,3367. Spread out over five floors, the property comes with seven bedrooms, four bathrooms, three reception rooms, a dining room, playroom and staff apartment. It also features a very extravagant master suite, which is set over one whole floor and comes with ‘his and hers’ dressing rooms.
The waterfront mansion featured in The Real World: Miami has an estimated property value of £13,400,983. The property actually includes two luxury homes, which together feature nine bedrooms, 12 bathrooms and two outdoor swimming pools, providing plenty of space both inside and out for residents to enjoy. It also comes with exclusive direct access to the Intracoastal Waterway that faces Miami’s Biscayne Bay, giving residents the opportunity to arrive and depart via the water.
Located in North West London near Hampstead Heath, the 2019 home for contestants on The Apprentice was another impressive reality TV property making it into the top 5. With an estimated value of £13,189,922, this property features seven bedrooms and four reception rooms, giving the residents plenty of room to unwind and relax. Equipped with enviable facilities including a cinema room, swimming pool, wine cellar, gym, jacuzzi and steam room, this property certainly has everything you may need for a jet-set business lifestyle.
Yet another BBC The Apprentice home rounds off the top five, with the 2016 contestants' home being valued at a whopping £13,100,000. The mansion, located on Daleham Gardens has 6 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms and 5 impressive reception rooms set across 4 floors. The property includes luxury touches throughout, with wooden panelling adorning the walls and statement stone bathtubs in some of the bathrooms.
